Swim in cauldrons full of glory
Cannot be derogatory
For I fear to disappoint

People in pursuit of gladness
Sick of all my weepy sadness
Blind to their own state of madness
So with sweetness I'll annoint

Tales of hatred now made cheerful
Laugh away the mourning tearful
Feigning courage for the fearful
I put darkness to the eye

Hide the plight of failing power
Lose the clock--forget the hour
Keep the heart from turning sour
Living a sarcastic lie

Think I'm foolish, then don't heed me
Wish to starve me, then don't feed me
If you hate me, then don't read me
I do not your choices make

Change my words, no I refuse
Hardened will I will not lose
I will write down what I choose
Silence is the grave mistake
